Gad Yola, a Spanish-Peruvian drag artist, will lead a two hour workshop focusing on decolonial music composition and audiovisual creation. Gad Yola released her first album, Travesti del Perú, in 2024, blending anti-racist practices such as revindicative claims from public demonstrations and Latin American queer references. In this session, she will deepen into her own practice and explore other contemporary examples that address pop and reggaetón music through an anti-racist lens.
