Join us for a reading of the play Burning Vision, by Marie Clements, a Métis playwright based in Vancouver, British Columbia performed by NYU students. This groundbreaking play traces the origins and effects of the atomic bombs dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima and establishes the cross-border scope of the event's concerns in an expansive and poignant mode.

Day Two - 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
Scholars and researchers from various communities and institutions will gather to discuss and present on issues of nuclear policy and testing, uranium mining, atomic bombs, nuclear energy, and nuclear waste. Lunch will be available.
Participants include: Manu Karuka, Juliana Hu Pegues, Tiara Na'Puti, Mary X. Mitchell, Tomoki Fukui, Shannon Cram, Jessica Hurley, Ried Gustafson, and members of the research group Nuclear Princeton.
